Savannah, Georgia, has this slow, moss-draped charm that makes you feel like you have stepped into a different era. The Historic District is incredibly walkable, which is great for dates because you can wander without a strict plan. One of my favorite things to do is grab coffee from a local shop and just stroll through Forsyth Park. The fountain there is iconic, and you will see artists, musicians, and other couples doing the same thing. It is low-pressure but still romantic. There are also these hidden garden squares everywhere—twenty-two of them, to be exact—and each one feels like a secret. You can sit on a bench and talk for an hour without realizing it. Later in the evening, River Street is lively with cobblestones, old warehouses turned into restaurants, and views of the river. A lot of places have live music on weekends. I recommend booking a dinner spot with outdoor seating because the weather is usually nice, and the atmosphere is more relaxed. Ghost tours are also a weirdly fun date activity if you both like a little thrill. You end up holding hands more often than you would admit. Savannah works so well for dating because it is naturally intimate without trying too hard. It is the kind of place where a simple walk feels like an event.
