GDP Numbers Lie: Here's What India Does Better Than America (And What America Crushes)

Graph showing India and US economic growth
GDP Truth Unveiled
You see those headlines – India's GDP growing at 7%, US at 2.5%. And everyone starts celebrating. But GDP is a liar if you look at it alone. Let me give you an example. When a family in India cooks at home, that's not counted in GDP. When an American orders DoorDash every night, that adds to GDP. So the US economy looks bigger on paper, but are people actually better off?

Where India genuinely wins is social resilience. Families support each other financially. People share houses, cars, even medical bills. In America, you're on your own. Lose your job? Good luck. Your savings better be solid. But where America crushes us is infrastructure and innovation. Their roads, airports, internet speeds, and research labs are decades ahead. An American startup can raise a million dollars in a week. In India, you're begging banks for collateral.

So stop asking which economy is "better". Ask which one fits your life. If you want stability and community, India works. If you want speed and scale, go to America. I've seen successful people in both places fail miserably because they chose the wrong fit. GDP growth doesn't feed you when you're lonely or burnt out.
