I Used Cloud Scheduler to Automate My Life (Not Just My Servers)

Personal Automation with Cloud Scheduler
Cloud Scheduler is technically for triggering Cloud Functions or HTTP endpoints. But I've started using it for everything. I have a scheduler job that calls a webhook to turn off my smart lights at 10 PM. I have one that sends me a text reminder to water my plants every three days. I have one that scrapes a weather API and emails me if it's going to rain. It's cron as a service, but it's so reliable and simple that I use it for personal automation too. The free tier gives you three jobs per month free. That's plenty for personal projects. Cloud Scheduler turned my scattered cron jobs on random Raspberry Pis into a unified, managed system. If you have anything that runs on a schedule, Cloud Scheduler is the cleanest way to do it.
