Tesla's Stock Is Worth More Than All Other Car Makers Combined and That Makes No Sense

Tesla Stock Valuation
Tesla is worth about 500 billion dollars. Toyota is worth 300 billion. Volkswagen is 80 billion. Ford is 50 billion. Add them all up. Tesla is still bigger. That is insane.

Tesla sells 1.8 million cars per year. Toyota sells 10 million. Tesla's profit per car is higher. But not that much higher. The stock price assumes Tesla will dominate everything. Cars. Trucks. Energy. AI. Robots.

Elon Musk promised a robotaxi fleet by 2020. It is 2025. No robotaxis. He promised a $25,000 car. Not yet. He promised the Cybertruck would tow a million pounds. It cannot. The stock ignores these failures.

For beginners, Tesla stock is a bet on Elon Musk's vision. Not on current reality. That bet could pay off. Or it could crash. History says visionary CEOs eventually stumble. Tesla is not different. Be careful with your money.
