Time Management for the Chronically Overwhelmed
Feeling like there’s never enough time is a common modern ailment. Traditional productivity advice often adds more pressure. Instead of trying to do more, try doing less, but better. I found the concept of the ‘priority’ helpful: it literally means ‘the first thing.’ Each day, identify just one or two tasks that are truly important, not just urgent. Do those first, before you check email or social media. This ensures your best energy goes to what matters most. Also, learn to set boundaries. Your time is your most valuable resource. It’s okay to say no to requests that don’t align with your priorities. And build in buffers. Don’t schedule every minute. Leave gaps for the unexpected, and for rest. Time management isn’t about cramming more in; it’s about creating space for a meaningful life.
