Personal Project Management with GitHub Issues
I’m not just a developer; I’m a project manager for my own scattered brain. I started using GitHub Issues to track bugs for my side project, but then I had a realization: I can use this for everything. Now, I create issues for new features like 'add dark mode', but also for chores like 'organize photo folder' and 'research new camera'. I assign labels like 'high priority' or 'future dream'. Closing an issue gives me a tiny sense of accomplishment that keeps me motivated. It turns a vague idea of 'I should work on my project' into a concrete, actionable list. It’s like a to-do list that integrates with my code, and it’s free.
