Eligibility
Educational Qualification Details in UPSC Form – Step by Step
In UPSC form, you must enter your graduation details even if you are in the final year. For final year students, enter 'Appearing' as status. Percentage: calculate as per university norms – if CGPA, use the conversion formula given by your university. Degree name: exactly as on degree certificate (e.g., B.A. (Hons) Political Science, not just B.A.). University: select from the dropdown – if not found, type manually. For postgraduates, you can mention PG but it's optional. You also need to enter Class 10 and 12 details – board name, year, percentage. Keep your marksheets ready while filling. If you have a foreign degree, you must get an equivalence certificate from AIU. Official rule: https://upsc.gov.in/eligibility. Wrong percentage leads to rejection during document verification. So cross-check with your college.
