China solved hunger and basic infrastructure years ago. India is still struggling with both. But here’s the twist: India’s democracy, messy as it is, allows for course correction. China’s one-party system works fast—until it doesn’t.
Who has better jobs right now? China. Who will have more jobs in 10 years? India, simply because of demographics. But only if they fix education and healthcare first.
