Learning by Doing: My Favorite Kaggle Competitions for Beginners

Kaggle for Beginners
I spent months reading textbooks, but I didn’t really learn ML until I started doing Kaggle competitions. There’s something about the pressure of a leaderboard and seeing how others solved the same problem. I recommend the Titanic competition to start—it’s a classic. After that, try the House Prices competition. Don’t go in expecting to win. Just go in to learn. Look at the notebooks shared by the community. You’ll learn more in a week of competitive coding than in a month of lectures.
