Tesla's Cybertruck Disaster or Genius? We Finally Know

Electric pickup truck on a road
Tesla Cybertruck Design
When Elon Musk revealed the Cybertruck in 2019, he smashed the windows on stage. It was supposed to be unbreakable. It broke. People laughed. Orders still poured in. Over a million reservations.

Four years later, the Cybertruck finally shipped. It looks the same. Like a polygon from a 90s video game. Critics hate it. Owners love it. The truck is massive. It is heavy. It is inefficient compared to the Ford Lightning.

But here is the thing. The Cybertruck is a halo product. It gets attention. Every review, good or bad, is free advertising. People who would never buy a Tesla talk about the Cybertruck. That is the point.

For beginners, understand this marketing lesson. Safe products are boring. Controversial products are memorable. Tesla does not need to sell millions of Cybertrucks. They need to keep Tesla in the news. And the Cybertruck does that perfectly. Broken windows and all.
