Operating systems now offer screen time reports and focus modes, while app designers are under pressure to build healthier defaults. Beyond individual responsibility, there is a call for regulatory action to limit addictive design practices, especially in platforms aimed at minors. Addressing digital addiction is not about rejecting technology but about reclaiming agency, setting boundaries, and fostering a healthier relationship with the digital tools that have become so integral to modern life.
